What this is and what it is not
This is
- Working in a team with a process close to a real one
- A project with a clear scope and someone responsible for it
- Regular feedback from people with commercial experience
- Work you can describe in detail in an interview
This is not
- A course that teaches you to code from zero
- A paid internship
- A guarantee of a job
- Something you can drop in and out of
We do not teach you to write code. We give you a place where code is written with other people, and where someone checks what you wrote.
Who is in the team
A team is a few people at a similar stage, each with a different role. Nobody is there to do the work for the others. Everyone is learning, and each role takes away a different kind of experience.
- Backend
- Frontend
- QA
- Product
- Design
Around the team there are mentors — people with commercial experience who review the work and answer questions in fixed slots. They advise, they do not build.
What we expect from you
- You already build things.
- You have finished courses, university or taught yourself, and you have projects you made on your own. We are not starting from zero with you.
- What you are missing is the team part.
- Working with other people's code, agreeing on decisions, delivering on a shared schedule, and having a project you can present rather than just link to.
- You stay for the whole cohort.
- Three to four months, all sprints. When one person leaves in the middle, it lands on the four people who stayed.
- English.
- The first cohort runs entirely in English — discussions, code review, demos. It does not need to be perfect, but you should be comfortable discussing technical work in it. Later cohorts will run in German.
Apply for the first cohort
The form takes about 10 minutes.
