Who runs this
Zunft is run by two people, in our spare time, because we kept meeting junior engineers who could already code but had never worked as part of a team. This page is about us, why we started this, and what we are honest about not being.
The two of us
How this started
Both of us had been carrying the same idea for a while: to start a school of our own one day, or at least a place where we could teach people what we know. We kept bringing it up when we talked, and at some point two separate ideas turned into one shared one. That is how Zunft started. It was the summer of 2026, and the whole thing is barely two months old.
We want to move fast. Rather than plan everything on paper, we try things, test them on real people and keep what works. The goal is simple: every iteration should be better than the one before it, and the first cohort is where that starts.
What we are not
- No company.
- There is no registered company behind Zunft. We are two individuals.
- No money.
- Nobody makes money from this. There is no revenue, and no plan for one yet.
- No jobs.
- We do not employ anyone, and we do not guarantee a job to anyone.
- No track record yet.
- This is our first cohort. We are learning how to run it while you go through it.
